I have pretty short hair and it's not very thick. This is a smaller sized boar bristle brush and the bristles aren't as stiff as some other beard brushes I've used. The way this brush is made it works perfectly as a hair brush for me. It's a great size and the slightly softer bristles are really nice. The wood is very smooth and finished well. I really like the contour of it as well, it has a good feel in the hand. The skull design really doesn't do anything for me but it doesn't bother me either and I imagine to some people it would really be a selling point. The black and gold packaging looks cool but it's pretty thin and doesn't give much protection to the brush. If you could get one where the box stayed in nice shape it could make a nice gift for someone.Overall this is a pretty nice smaller brush and as long as you don't need one with extra stiff bristles I recommend it.

Very disappointed to get a beat up box since this is a gift. The bristles are obviously not boar bristles or even natural ones. The whole thing is plastic. It may have been real at one time but it is not now. Way over priced for cheap plastic.
The bristles on this brush are so soft. To start with, this brush is just cool to look at. The flaming skull reminds me of a comic book character. The brush fits nicely in the hand and it glides smoothly leaving hair looking nice and shiny. This brush is so nice, my cat tries to steal it during use and wants brushed with it himself. So far, I have seen minimal bristle loss and it has been pretty easy to clean. Overall, this is a nice quality and really cool looking brush.
This brush is very well done, nice details to it and easy to hold. That said the bristles are so soft it seems like it would be better for polishing your boots than for your hair or beard.
To date, thisbis the only brush that could tame my main mane. Very nice indeed.

Nice brush, in the picture the eyes mouth and flames are more defined than the actual product. I wish the box would have been a heavier storage box or a nice storage bag to keep the brush in while not in use. I have a different brush and the box it came in was also it's storage box. My brush box was crushed and the brush had fallen out.

I ordered this for my boyfriend as a part of a beard care gift for my family Christmas party. One of the issues I had was that the packaging that the brush came in was crumpled and open. Then, the brush itself has a significant scratch in the wood with a string of wood shaving hanging off it. Not sure when that occurred but it arrived that way.The bristles and brush itself seems nice but I wish the skulls detail was a bit more detailed. I would say it’s worth buying for the price, but I’m not sure I would gift it at a party, I might still sense I taped the box and am going to wrap it to go with other things. However, functionality-wise it is probably a decent beard brush with a simple design.
