I received the knife today. I was very pleased. Given that it was made from a farrier's rasp, (why I wanted it) the finish is really nice. I think I'm going to enjoy it. For some slighhtly critical observations, the rasp edges need to be deburred a little more where the scales join it. I can feel the sharp edges of the steel between the scales. The knife balance has a heavy back end due to retaining much of the thickness of the rasp. A few lightening holes in the steel under the scales might offset the balance some. But other than that I'm excited with it. Thank you very much.

Only had it a couple of days. Knife is sharp. Time will tell how it holds an edge. Weight and balance feels good in your hand. Olive wood handle looks real nice. Sheath could be made of a little heavier leather. Will see how it wears.
The knife and holder are beautiful. The company was easy to contact and responsive when I reached out to have the product changed from a right handed to left handed. My one issue would be the packaging. For such a nice expensive knife, it was in a plastic baggie and a box. Upgrading the shipping package, would elevate the experience. It is a Christmas present for my husband who has been eyeing this belt knife for months. As a military family, we love supporting our veterans.

I loved the knife. Fits perfect in my hand and the pine cone handle is amazing. The case fits great around my waist. After i oiled up the case and softened the leather the knife fit in it like a glove. Great craftsmanship all around. Blade was easy to put a razor edge on it. I recommend it whole heartedly. Will work great on this yrs Maine Moose Hunt.
