Helle Hellefisk – Ultralight Norwegian Fishing Knife

At just 64 grams, the Hellefisk is Helle's lightest knife and one you can pack on any trip. Designed by Tor Indergaard in 1992 as a fishing knife, its long, thin blade has made it a favorite for filleting, skinning fish and prepping food in the outdoor kitchen.

The 4.84" blade is Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel, only 1.3 mm thick, and arrives with Helle's familiar razor sharp edge. It is thin enough for clean slicing while staying stiff enough for control.

The barrel-shaped cork handle is warm to hold with bare hands even in very cold weather, grips well when wet, and lets the knife float if it goes overboard. A genuine leather sheath is included. Handmade in Holmedal, Norway.
