Every time I use this brush, the bristles fall out and end up on my face, which I have to pick off. I'm not sure what the bristles are made of, but they feel somewhat coarse and uncomfortable.

The scissors are awesome; tight, sharp, precise. The comb is magnificent, with extra-thick teeth that don't act like they're thick due to the design- basically, they're wide in the direction they are most likely to receive strain/stress and normal-thickness otherwise, making it a superior design to your standard comb.The beard brush though... It's not bad, okay? It's just not as awesomely-good as the scissors and comb. The bristles appear to be made from synthetic material and hey look and, to an extent, feel, almost more like a scrubbing brush than a hairbrush. They're soft enough I suppose, but maybe there's just a few too many too closely packed? Or maybe they're too stiff? I'm not sure. But it feels off compared to the beard brush I'm used to (which uses animal hair I'm pretty sure).Otherwise this isn't a bad set and the carry pouch is a nice way to keep it all together.Thanks!

Everything is decent quality. But the brush sheds constantly. The scissors are decent but not perfect. The combs promote nice piece.

These products are tough to gauge the quality of, you really gotta order and see for yourself.I was not very impressed with this  kit from Bucking, though I was hopeful at the start.The brush bristles were not usable, and there was a layer of dust built up beneath them.Not to mention the off-putting smell right out of the bag.I will say that this may be a one off in terms of what I received, but I am moving on.

I purchased this set for my husband to use on his beard. He is very pleased with everything. The bristles on the brush are soft,and make brushing easy. The scissors are super sharp,and are perfect for cutting with precision. The comb has a wide tooth side,and a fine tooth side,which he prefers the wide tooth side. It also has a nice little case to pop protect t the comb. It comes with a little bag to store everything in,making it perfect for travel. All in all,great quality set.

This is a wonderful quality men’s grooming kit.  The boar bristle brush is soft and the bristles are dense.  The double sided comb is very nice as well and comes with a leather like comb sleeve.  The scissors are sharp and can be used for precise trimmings.  I ordered this for my dad.  He is in poor health and this little kit really lifted his spirits.  That is much appreciated.

Decent kit for maintaining my beard. The bristle brush is fairly decent quality, but it had some loose bristles, and a few are frayed. The bristles are made from nylon and the base is made from a soft wood like poplar, with a layer of black paint, in fact it showed up with scratches in the wood that were painted over and some spots where the paint already is missing. (see photo)The scissors are sharp but they are really tight at the hinge.The comb has a wallet sized sleeve that is nice, but it would make more sense to have a case for the scissors instead so they don’t poke through my travel bag and to keep the point sharp.

Brush has good ergonomics. Not just a flat top, but a bit of a tapered curve so it fits better in the hand. The bristles are synthetic, so not as stiff as boar but still fairly firm. They are packed in nice and tight so they have just the right amount of flex.Comb is lightweight and easy to slip into a pocket or small bag. The comb sleeve is a nice touch to keep the teeth protected. Scissors are sharp and cut cleanly. The main storage bag all the items come in is a thicker cloth material, not quite canvas, so seems like it would be quite durable for travel.

Beards are in fashion these days. This starter kit is good for personal use and/or it makes a good gift for some home who is growing a beard. Beards are not maintenance free facial hair, there are good care practices for growing a beard. Caring for beard is something that is essential, including comping, brushing, oiling and conditioning, trimming and so forth. This is a basic kit that includes a brush, a two sided comb and a sharp precision pair of sizers. It comes in a nice storage bag that makes it much more convenient for travel and storage.

I’ve had a lot of beard management kits in my day and I’m calling this one a Beginner’s Kit. The scissors are sharp, but less than smooth, and overly tight. The brush bristles are very soft and densely packed, so not that great for a thick beard. The wood comb is nice, easy to hold, a good length, and has 2 tine gaps to choose from. A travel bag is also included.I currently have three beard brushes and this is the softest of the three; I will continue using the most firm brush during my morning grooming. I’ll be keeping this kit at work for the occasional touch-up.

I didn't find the quality of this comb and brush set to be of particularly high quality.  They were not obviously flawed, but also didn't really stand out in any way for me.  The tines of the comb take up too much space and were thicker than (I feel) necessary.  The brush seems too soft for a hair brush.  The bristles tend to slide over the surface of hair instead of pulling through the hair itself.  I feel like the brush is more suited for suede than for a beard.  Overall I just wasn't over impressed with this set.

My husband is loving this set! It’s perfect! The bristles on the brush comb his beard nicely! They are on the softer side, so it’s more of a surface brush. He puts his hand under his beard when combing the top, to get it brushed thoroughly! He has a plethora of grooming brushes & this is the one he uses the most! He loves it!The wood comb is really nice for his mustache! As are the super sharp scissors! They’re fantastic for nose hairs too! 🙌🏼  Also, the comb comes in a very nice quality leather type pouch!Everything comes in a really nice velvety drawstring bag!

This beard kit is okay but not great. The brush is really nice and the bristles are a lot softer than I imagined but everything else I could have done without. The comb pouch was good but the comb itself looks used with faded print and nicks/scratches. The scissors are hard to open and close and makes cutting a bit more difficult than it should be. Even the storage bag isn't the best since it has lots of loose threads and the strings look like they're unraveling. The truth is I've gotten similar grooming kits for half the price and better quality. It's also not presented well and comes in clear plastic, no gift box included. Overall I was simply not impressed and am sorry to say I wouldn't order it again.

A nice set. I love grooming my SO beard and mustache so I keep this pretty cool and well made set tucked away from pampering him. Brush is pretty soft but has great brush throughout bristles. The comb is nice and solid enough for a good comb through and comes with nice sleeve. The scissors are sharp enough to trim those out of place hairs. Overall it’s nice

When I first took the products out the bag I noticed a VERY strong "plasticy" smell, but that is the case with most beard tools. Even after I washed the brush and comb with soap and warm water the smell persisted. It took a few days for the smell to go away but when it did, the products were great! I've used beard combs and brushed from other brands (including national brands that are in Walmart/target shelves) but the build quality of this is much better. The brush is probably twice as heavy with a solid construction. The beard comb is extremely sharp and makes trimming your beard easy. Great gift for any bearded man that is willing to wait a few days to use the solid product.

Everything in this kit is of good or above average in quality. The wood comb and its pleather pouch themselves are great. The large brush has a nice wooden handle but the bristles are extremely soft, more so than any beard brush I've used previously, and may not work well for those looking to tame rougher hair. I was originally disappointed with the scissors but after closer inspection, saw they were just coated in some residue and needed to be cleaned before the action became smooth. The canvas draw-string bag is a nice bonus.All together, a very nice giftable set with items useful for both the seasoned beard and the adventurous newcomer. Happy with it.

This is a nice little kit. It's fairly standard faire, would be nice at a deal price :)

This is a nice little set in a small thick sinch-sack for storage/travel.The brush is of good quality and the come is the wide beard standard kind made of plastic but with a little slip case that would make it easy for carrying in the pocket.The scissors are VERY sharp and work well. My only complaint about them is that they come to a very sharp point. It would be nice if the tips were a little more blunted or had the rounded ends like other beard/mustache scissors have. Getting these little suckers close to my face makes me just a little bit nervous due to how sharp the points are.I also feel like sooner or later, they'll poke through the bag.Other than that one little thing, I think this is a great set.

These brushes and scissors are absolutely as described. The bristles are firm to brush out a thick beard but also soft it’s not going to irritate skin. My husband liked the smaller detail brush to help cut any spots that needed a touch up! Love the bag to keep everything in.
